Life has gotten more interesting with a walker. I'm realizing (belatedly) that I should probably get her some real shoes. She has a pair of Robeez, and a little pair of tennis shoes I got at a consignment sale a few weeks ago, but other than that, she's barefooting it.
I'm considering going to Stride Rite to get her fitted. My hesitation is the expense -- I can't justify spending upwards of $30 on a pair of shoes she'll wear for a few months at most!

Elizabeth took her first steps - alone and unaided today! She had started, just yesterday, walking while only holding one hand. But today, she decided to try a new trick! She would take two steps, and fall, take two steps, and fall. She did this about 5 times before she got bored.
Needless to day, we were ecstatic and encouraged her. I grabbed the camera, and I managed to GET A SHOT!!!
By the way, she was saying "Shoe!" the entire time. That's what SHE thought was important!
